Xun
Having been rather taken with the sound of the Xun in China, I bought one and am figuring out how to play it. I imagine that, to the trained ear, my efforts are as embarrasing as John Barnes' "rap" in World in Motion but, well, I'm finding it fascinating at any rate. Here are my first recordings:
Xun 4 Echo. 4th take with echo added later.
Xun 4 Echo Slow. The same as above, only at half speed. Much weirder.
Xun 4 Echo Slow Flange. I flanged it to make the bad recording, and the endless hum of the pc fan, more interesting.

Minus_Three is my noise/drone outfit. My original aim was to make music of full-spectrum noise that was so boring I could fall asleep to it. I used to have really noisy neighbours (teenage squatters) and it seemed the best way to block them out. Since they left the project has branched out into other directions.
